Is this safe to use while taking my GLP-1 medication?
Just Right GLP-1™ is designed as a wellness support program for adults using GLP-1 medications under the care of their prescribing healthcare professional. Your assessment will ask about current supplements and relevant health considerations. We encourage you to share your program recommendations with your prescribing physician before beginning new supplements or making significant nutrition changes.
Is this a medical program?
Just Right GLP-1™ is a physician-created wellness program designed to complement your existing care. It does not prescribe GLP-1 medication, replace medical treatment, or substitute for advice from your healthcare professional.
Is protein powder included in the program?
No. Your personalized protein plan is included, but protein powder or shakes are selected and purchased separately by you. This is intentional. Protein is highly dependent on personal taste, dietary preferences, tolerance, and convenience. Rather than sending a large tub in a flavor you may not enjoy, we help determine an appropriate protein target and guide you in selecting the source and flavor you are most likely to use consistently.
Why do you include HMB and creatine but not protein powder?
HMB and creatine can be supplied in a convenient daily format as part of your program. Protein is different: the amount may vary based on your dietary intake, and the right flavor or format is highly personal. Separating these components lets us provide daily HMB/creatine support while giving you the freedom to choose the protein powder, shake, or food-based option that works best for you.
How do you personalize my protein recommendation if you do not supply the protein?
Your assessment estimates your current protein intake and helps determine whether you may benefit from additional protein each day. Your plan provides a recommended protein goal and, when appropriate, an estimated supplemental amount. You can then select a preferred protein source. If you choose a protein powder or shake, your program can help you translate its nutrition label into a portion that corresponds with your individualized recommendation.
Can I use a protein powder I already like?
Yes. If you already use a protein powder or ready-to-drink shake, your assessment can account for it. You will be asked about the amount of protein per serving and whether the product contains ingredients such as creatine, HMB, or vitamin D, so your program can help avoid unnecessary duplication.
Can I meet my protein recommendation with food rather than protein powder?
For many people, yes. Depending on your personalized recommendation and dietary preferences, appropriate protein may come from ordinary foods, protein shakes, protein powder, or a combination of options. Your program is designed to guide the amount, not force a particular format.
What if I have kidney disease or have been told to limit protein?
Your assessment will screen for relevant medical considerations. If you have kidney disease, dialysis, a clinician-directed protein restriction, or another condition affecting protein or supplement use, you should speak with your healthcare professional before following an automated protein recommendation or starting new supplements.
Do I need a gym or special equipment?
No. Your resistance training exercises are designed for practical at-home use with little or no equipment. The goal is to help you build a realistic routine that can be continued throughout your program.
Why is vitamin D included?
Vitamin D is part of your broader support plan because it is relevant to normal muscle and bone function. Your Just Right D™ program is personalized separately and delivered as a six-month supply because vitamin D needs should not be determined simply by how much protein you consume.
